Screen capture & permissions+
In System Settings → Privacy & Security, allow screen recording for the copy of Shotloom you use. Camera and microphone have separate permissions. Reopen the app if macOS asks.
Scrolling screenshots+
Select a region or window and scroll the source manually with overlapping frames. Let moving content settle. Fixed headers or complex pages may need a pause or an undo.
Camera, audio & video export+
Enable the camera and audio sources before recording. Check the finished preview, then export the edited video. Keep the source video, camera material and project together; saving only the screen source does not include the camera overlay.
Files, language & compatibility+
Shotloom is for Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 15 or later. Capture and editing run locally without an account. The upcoming release supports English and Simplified Chinese. Optional speech models may need a first-use download.
